Bendigo TAFE Library

Students can use all of the multifunction printers located in areas accessible to student.

Mutlifunction printers can:

  • Print
  • Photocopy
  • Scan to email

You must have printing credit on your student ID to print and photocopy.  Printing credit is not necessary to scan to email.

How to:

Online

To top up your printing credits online follow the link  https://print.myselfserve.com.au/user

This method accepts both PayPal and credit card payments. Your username and password is that same one you use to log on the computer

Cash

Use coins and notes at a Smart Loader kiosk. Please note the machine does not give change, but the credit will remain on you card while you are a student.

Smart Loader kiosks can be found:

  • Bendigo City Campus - Library (Building P)
  • Charleston Road - Student area (Building AR)

​How to use wireless printing

  1. Log into to https://print.myselfserve.com.au/
  2. Select 'Web Print' from the menu on the left side.
  3. Press the 'Submit a Job' button.
  4. Select which printer you want to collect the print job form.
  5. Press the 'Print Options and Account Selection' button to move to step 2

  1. Select how many copies of the document you want to print.
  2. Press the 'Upload Documents' button to move to step 3.
  3. Upload your document. The following formats can be uploaded:
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Microsoft Excel

Look at the differences between printing using Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office 2010.

However both screens have a option to select the printer you want to collect the print job from. Select the printer that is closest to your location.

Print in Colour

  • Printer properties - print in colourTo print in colour go in to 'printer properties'
  • A new window will pop up.
  • Go to the Output Colour drop down menu.
  • Select colour from the drop down menu
  • Press the OK button at the bottom of the window

Print Prices. A4 B/W $0.10, A3 B/W $0.20. A4 Color $0.75, A3 Color $1.00

 

Scan to email

The scan will automatically be sent to your student email. You can add additional recipients in order to send the scan to your personal email. After each document has sent, the recipients will change back to the default of only your student email. You need to add additional recipients for every document you sent.

Photocopying

Please be aware of copyright law around what you intend to photocopy. Copyright notices are displayed near the multifunction printer
