Help for your students

Introduce new students to the services available to them in the Library and Learning Centre and book a Basic Tour of the library.

You have the options of selecting one or all of the below.

1)  Basic Tour

Hightlights our collections, borrowing, printing, spaces to relax and study, computer access and log in assistance, and a quick overview of the e-Library.

2)  First Time student login assistance

We can help get students started on the computers at Kangan Institute by helping you ensure all students know how to login to the computers.

3)  Forwarding Kangan email to personal accounts

To ensure no students misses email communication from Kangan Institute the library can help your students forward their Kangan emails to their personal accounts.

Please complete the Introduction to the Library form to book a time for one or all of the above options.

These sessions are designed to help students start the research process and we recommend staff book a research skills session when an assignment has been given to students.

We tailor the session for the needs of your students and help find books, articles, reports and other relevant information to support the assessment outcomes, along with discussing the importance and how to reference.

We can deliver the content in one session, or in a couple of shorter sessions.
